LuxuryCheck (“we”, “the app”) is a luxury brand encyclopedia and personal collection archive. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is stored.
1. Information we collect
LuxuryCheck does not require an account and does not ask you to register. We do not operate a user database on our servers for this app.
If you choose to use in-app features, the following information may be stored only on your device:
- Collection records you enter (brand, model, prices, condition, notes)
- Favourites, search history, and care-plan reminders
- Language and notification preferences
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, payment information, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers for the core app features.
2. How information is used
Device-stored information is used only to provide the features you requested, such as showing your collection, calculating figures you entered, and remembering settings. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Data storage and sharing
Collection and preference data stay on your iPhone or iPad. The app does not upload this information to our servers. We do not share it with third parties.
Uninstalling the app removes this locally stored information.
4. Network access
The app may use an internet connection to load publicly available web pages inside the app. Those pages are operated by their respective owners and are governed by their own privacy policies. LuxuryCheck does not receive a copy of information you submit on third-party websites unless you choose to provide it to them directly.
5. Permissions
Core features do not require Camera, Photos, Microphone, Tracking, or Location permission. If a future update requests a permission, iOS will show a system prompt and we will use that permission only for the stated purpose.
6. Children
LuxuryCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
